Samuel's 9 months old check-up

On Tuesday, December 22th 2009
Brought Samuel for his routine 9th month old check-up. We were told to strip him down butt naked so as to have a more accurate weight....Our boy is now a whooping 8.45kg; 71.8cm...As tired as my arms are...I'm glad he's growing well, putting on sufficient weight, and growing tall :)

Samuel was uber inquisitive and kept wanting to pull the stethoscope from the PD's ears..that failed..tried to pull her glasses....that failed..tried to pull the wiring behind us...Piang..he indeed has needles on his butt..cannot sit still...

After that, we proceed to let him take the 1st dose of pneumococcal vaccine :)...boy that must hurt...ouchie..but what to do...vaccines are good for him :)..all is good though..He stopped crying as soon as I carried him up.

Samuel is 9 months old today!!!

My little Samuel is 9 months old today :) I was browsing photos of him when he was about 2-3 months old and geez...I realise that my little baby indeed changed lot :)..

Daddy let him have his Sunday morning swim...

...and he's getting increasingly daring and does quite a number of turns... Look at that grin...he sure loves the water :)

Samuel is now able to sit up by himself...pretty fast and steady...It was like 2-3 weeks ago..I was downstairs cooking and I heard him via the baby monitor..I looked up at the screen (Daddy installed a live cam so it's easier for me to check on Samuel)...He was sitting my himself on his bed!!!!...I ran up as fast as I could...you never know with babies...this moment they are sitting..next they will be standing up.....Anyway..we immediately lowered his bed the very night :) Dangerous...

We were at Best Buy and see how his boy loves the keyboard...I must have exposed him well enough back home that he likes it and wants to 'play' a song or two...haha

Olive garden & Kuspy Kreme

Had a scrumptious Olive Garden lunch...Love the soup & garlic breadsticks :)

Afterwhich we shop a a bit in Arrowhead mall...and all I ever buy these days are stuffs for Samuel..tsk tsk..is ok though..shall shop till I drop in vegas :)

Head on to Kuspy Kreme..AND OH HOW I MISS THEIR DONUTS...thankfuly ther reopened their stores and there is one right by Highway 101 & Bell....:)..

Christmas celebration 2009 @ Luke AFB

We attended the Christmas Party organised by Daddy's workplace @ Luke AFB. Needless to say, since it is a Christmas Party...Mummy bought me a little Santa Claus Suit.... A couple of shots before leaving the house...and boy am I cranky....Mummy says that's how I am when I refuse to take my 2nd noon nap..tsk tsk..

Everyone thinks that I'm uber cute in this Santa Suit :) Collecting my Christmas present from Santa..but seems like I'm more interested in the present than posing for a picture
Mummy says I was super grouchy...thus photos at the base did not turn out too good..:(

My mood turned for the better just as the party is ending..and upon reaching home..I'm all smiles and Mummy decided to camwhore a bit ;)

Can you tell?...EVERYTHING under the tree is FOR ME!!!! :) I'm totally HAPPY :)

We have a new toy and a new job....Sean bought a DSLR camera and has been 'playing' with it ever since....Our new job? Photographer...we will just snaps and snaps and snaps away...of who..needless to day...Samuel of course... :) *Warning...photo intensified post.. :)

He is very excited here cos the 'Moose' is singing "Everywhere I Go"...he loves that song on Nickelodeon Jr.

He will always turn around to look for me or Sean no matter what's he's doing....Think he's scared we'll 'throw' him away...LOL

This is my current favourite place...Whole Food Market....LOVE their food, fruits....a whole lot of wide selection of food for me to choose for Samuel :)

Since I was preggie with Samuel...Whenever I sit down to play a song or two..'The Rainbow Connection' will always be one of the song....till today...I will still sing this song to Samuel...and he loves it :)
